Hello there, how are you doing?
Last time me and my friends Mustafa, Samet and Berat, made corpus-based teaching materials. As for this time however, we made teaching videos for flipped language classroom !.
To be honest, this one was much more fun to do as I felt like a real teacher making an online lesson which reminded me of my teachers a few years ago when we used to study online to the quarantine. Anyway, the development stage of the video was pretty simple. We used canva as we would usually do when we create slides for presentations, then we split the slides into 4 parts so everyone can be involved. After that, everyone recorded their voice and used a screen casting tool to record their part. Me personally, I just used the screen recording of my laptop and it worked pretty good. Even the sound quality was nice which was shocking as usually I'd need to edit or use a special tool for voice recording. Nevertheless, after everyone recorded their part we added a short practice section at the end to test the students. Our focus was on making it as simple and engaging as possible and I think we achieved it for the most part.
Check out the video and tell me what do you think. (My part is the last one)
