Hello everyone, in the last few weeks me and my classmates began studying Augmented and Virtual realities. After getting to know the topic, we started making teaching materials for out students. We decided to use Paris as out main place to make students explore using technology, and yeah I know that it is kinda cliché but who doesn't like Paris?
We provided students with QR codes for each place we wanted them to visit and they were numerous. A museum, cathedral and of course, the Eiffel tower.
We also added a video that showcases how croissants are made as it's popular food there.
We provided reflective open ended questions for each place as well. The aim of this is obviously to encourage students to speak or write and to engage them in the lesson.
It was a fun process to make this task and I can tell students would enjoy it since it is focused more on indirect learning through experiencing rather than direct instructions.
These are the materials we prepared, tell me what do you think
We made a lesson plan as well, check it out
