Hi everyone, we are at the end of the course and my second year in college as well. I thought I should share with you my experience. We had different kinds of tasks from creating infographics and podcasts to creating digital storytelling videos and using AI. the tasks were fairly consistent, almost every week. To start, I have to say probably the hardest one was making the blog page itself, finding one that is easy to use and shaping it from rock bottom takes time. On the other hand, it was kind of fun like starting a new video game and building/customizing your character all the way up. My favorite task was creating a podcast, I used a lot of sound effects and soundtrack according to my taste. The digital storytelling task was tiring in the aspect of finding a good website/ app but writing the story there was fun. The easiest task has to be collaborative writing, probably because I'm already used to writing and we were free to choose the content and we used a movie that all of us were familiar with, so i just had to remember it and write. Finally, we had the task about using AI to talk to a character of our choice, this one was fun as I was able to investigate more into character ai, but the process was long it felt like two tasks combined into one. Overall, the course was really beneficial. I got to experience several websites that I think would help me in the future. Like magic school, the British councilor website and etc... I even got to develop some editing skills since I needed to embed most of the tasks as well as editing sound/video. However, despite these positive traits, considering now how fast technology is developing, it's kind of scary. This may replace most of jobs in 5-10 years, but we might be able to adapt to it. I guess we will have to wait and see. As for now, stay safe and see you next semester, Goodbye.
